I already tweeted this yesterday to Sean. I heard recently that dutch actress Carice van Houten was cast as the redhaired witch Melisandre for season 2.  From what I hear -haven't read the books- it's a pretty big role so I'm looking forward to seeing her in action. |

I can't wait for this season 2, although admittedly I'm looking forward to season 3 the most. But book 2 has some great scenes in it. I can't wait for the scene where Melisandre essentially births a demon spirit. |
