Watching Noah right now. It's pretty interesting, the whole weird fantasy kind of aspect to the story. My favorite part is the scene in the commercial where the bad kind is like "do you think you can defy me alone?" and Noah says "I'm not alone." In the clip we're meant to infer that he means God is on his side. But in the movie, the second after Noah says that rock monsters come out of the woodwork to defend him. It's kind of interesting and funny.

Am I right that Hermione is in this movie? I didn't see her in the trailers, but I heard she's in the movie? Is she one of his daughters or something? Is he boning his daughters in this one? Wait, no, that's Lot, my sister corrected me about that last time I saw her. Is he boning Hermione? Why is she in a movie like this, she did Perks of Being a Wallflower and that was amazing.

This is a big movie with a great director; I'm not surprised she would want to be in it. She's Shem's wife, so no one's boning their sister or their daughter. It's pretty Old Testament in other ways though. Like in Genesis, where it said "and God sent unto Noah Rock Monsters to help him construct the ark because three guys building a cruise ship big enough for every animal on Earth, that's just ridiculous. Am I right?"

Well it's not like she could have just waved her magic wand and helped them build it that way.
