The Quest

Ok so I've been hearing about this new reality TV show coming up called "The Quest", which basically sounds like Survivor: Dungeons and Dragons. I thought it was a neat concept but I watched the first episode and I didn't find it very impressive. It really is just Survivor with a makeover, they compete in "quests" like shooting big crossbows as a team and the losing team has a challenge, the last two left get voted on or off. So far I've seen a group of people trying to compete over who was the biggest nerd when they were little, a guy who was supposed to be a "cage fighter" shouting after a monster dragging off an npc that next time he attacks the group he's getting is fight on, and a couple of guys turn on a girl because the group lost a challenge and well of course it was the girl's fault. I'm not terribly impressed. Anyone else seen it?

I don't much watch reality TV. Is it nerds on the show or just beefed-up Survivor rejects thinking they're "nerds" because they like video games?

No they're proper nerds, in the first episode they had a time when they all do backstory and they all try to out-sobstory each other. You know, I was the ugliest stupidest fatkid etc. I was the mostest loser when I was a kid. They've got a range though, there's an ultimate fighter and some chick who likes role-playing because she's a wrestler and in role-playing she's allowed to win in spite of being a girl... or something.
