This is a great idea. A Superman/Batman movie would be the greatest superhero movie ever and build perfectly to a Justice League movie. I'm glad to see they're taking their time to do this right.

The latest news is that they will be adversaries. I'm hoping that it is just a small part and not the entire flick. Sort of like the Avengers did it with some initial conflict that was quickly resolved. I'm not sure an entire movie of these two battling would work, especially since we already know will eventually be aligned in the Justice League.

This goes back to a Batman vs. Superman movie they wanted to make years ago, before superhero mash-ups we cool. I'm sure they'll be against each other at first, then learn to team up. Most interpretations of how Batman and Superman meet pit them against each other at first.

They've got different methodologies, so usually Superman thinks Batman is a loose cannon and Batman thinks Superman is too naive. But eventually they come to realize what fans and movie directors need to understand: They're more alike than they are different. They become the greatest friends in the superhero universe. That's the story I want to see.

They won't officially officially confirm it, but it looks that way. Plus they've asked for scripts for an Aquaman solo movie. Should be pretty cool.
