Sean, Greg and Andrew finish their discussion of Star Trek: Into Darkness, comparing it to Wrath of Khan, Star Wars, Serenity and anything else they can think of. Episode 186

Just listened to this episode and I'm not sure how well a Walking Dead weekly series would work. I keep wanting to like the show but it is so freaking slow. I remember listening to the episode and I started comparing it to my all-time favorite show, Six Feet Under, and also Boardwalk Empire. These shows have occasional episodes where not a whole lot happens but it's for the sake of character development. On Walking Dead, nothing's happening and nothing's happening with the characters either.

Yeah, it might have been more fun when Andrea was on the show because every week was just astonishment over whatever dumb thing she did. But it might be fun if the show picks up next season.
It's hard to say; covering every episode of a show is a big commitment. Game of Thrones has a lot to offer, but the Walking Dead doesn't have much of a mythology to dissect.
It would probably be a lot shorter than GOT. We talk for over an hour about an hour long episode of GOT. We could probably do Walking Dead in about twenty minutes.

Andrea and Lori make me think that the writers hate women because they're just so terrible. They have no redeeming qualities and all the other women have no interesting things to them.

Another deviation from the comic. Women aren't pinheads in the comic like they are on the show. Michonne is pretty well represented, but that's it.
