Two nights in a row this week my sleep has been terminated in the wee smalls by serial killer dreams. Two nights ago it was an epic struggle between Billy and Sydney from the Scream movie where they neither of them can die and they keep coming back to fighting each other over and over and he keeps claiming he's been cured then killing everyone and by time three or four Sydney's just shooting him on sight.
Then last night, out of the blue, my tv show dream on weekends that didn't turn out as expected took a sudden turn from "and his tire blew out hilariously" to "and 27 people died that day. We now call it the pumpkin patch murders and this guy pulls out a razor and just starts slashing and raping everybody.
I don't know if this is stress from my upcoming wedding (the serial killer part doesn't make sense though) or I've just been watching too much Bones (this is what Ben thinks it is). Or maybe a combination of both. The funny thing about these dreams is that in both cases I'm just an observer, and in neither case was I afraid in the dream.
What does everybody think? Maybe it has to be three nights in a row to be a pattern? I'll let you know if there's mass murdering in my dreams tomorrow.
