Watched the first episode. Mildly interesting but not very impressive so far. It's wall to wall exposition from start to finish, like the purpose of the pilot is to convince us that the show is not an ambiguous mystery and that it's plot actually makes sense. It's from the writers of LOST, but it's like the anti-LOST. Here they just tell you at every step what you're seeing what you should be coming away with.

No one's running to this show's defense, but I'll say this after getting a few episode's in: Now that they've gotten the premise established, it's become increasingly watchable. The underlying concept is appealing to me. Hopefully they won't do what they did with LOST and turn everyone into a psychopath.
Maybe this formula will work better: Put everything on the table even if it's not ready yet and hope it develops over time. LOST held everything back and gave us great characters with a lot of promise, but that turned out to be smoke and the characters eventually fell apart. This show gives us the whole story up front and the characters don't really pop, but once it's out there the characters are all they have so they end up having to focus more on them to the show's benefit.
Might actually work.
