I'm definitely not the target audience for this one. Looks like Teen Wolf meets Twilight and Van Helsing.

Yeah, it's like they're trying to do a Buffy thing, but they've stripped away everything that made Teen Wolf cheesy and fun, so it's just a werewolf series. Why bother? It's like remaking Fright Night; I don't get it. Why not just steal the idea? It's different enough that no one could sue.

In the case of Teen Wolf, it may simply be the concept of name recognition being misapplied.

I don't understand it. Their target audience is people who've never heard of Teen Wolf and they're alienating anyone who ever did.

But Teen Wolf is a cool name in itself, and a really self-explanatory concept. So even though there may not be name recognition the name will probably tell people all they need to know about the show.
