We talk a lot about Buffy on this ep. Spoiler alert, we do go over a lot of deaths in the shows and comics we discuss, especially Joss Whedon deaths.

You guys mentioned Dead Poets Society nearly being filmed in Georgia (Rome, I think you said). It ended up being shot here in Delaware. In fact, the pond in the film is Noxontown Pond; were I caught my first fish (a white perch) at the age of two.

Yeah, this turned out to be more of a Whedon ep. But that's because he's very big on bringing this phenomenon to the mainstream. Plus I'm less familiar with the comic book examples.

That's the way the story's supposed to end. They make a real fuss when you try to cook them if they're not dead.

You've never heard of Rex Hunt? He has a fishing show over here where he catches fish, kisses them, and pops them back in the water before they die. I mean, unless you'd prefer to suffocate slowly then be cooked...

I'm a catch and release fisherman, though I don't find the need to lay a smooch on the guy before I return him to the pond. To each their own.
