"This is a particularly bad one..." Greg Sean, Greg and Lynn talk about the casting choices for The Dark Knight Rises, Splice, Return to Frogtown, and Dolph Lundgren's upcoming movie, In the Name of the King 2. But is that enough to make Greg happy? No. He says this episode sucks. You be the judge... traffic.libsyn.com/darkcrazy/TVAMD_SUX.mp3

I'm sorry Greg, but I actually like this episode. Even though I'm in it.

I don't know... given the lack of feedback, Greg may have a point here.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the hiatus and lack of feedback. I've been in a more passive state of virtual existence lately; doing more reading than writing, so to say.
Thank you, Lynn, for the shout out. I took over the moderation duties at the Horroretc Podcast forum a few months ago. It has been my first experience in designing a proboards site and has been a fun learning experience.
I've got Wait Until Dark in my Netflix queue, as well. I think I might have seen it once before; if so, I was not of an age where I could appreciate it fully. I'm admittedly not too familiar with much of Hepburn's work, something I'll have to correct at some point.

Maybe we'll have to do an Audrey episode, or at least feature her in a discussion. She doesn't exactly qualify as a Johnny Drama but I think we can talk Sean into it by virtue of his being in love with her.

Who isn't in love with Audrey Hepburn? I'm watching "Sabrina" right now.

Well you're watching Sabrina so I guess you should know the answer to that question; Bogey! He's shockingly without any affection for her in that movie.

He's a taciturn man. He let her in his office even through she's womern-folk. What's more romantic than that?
In truth, I would have liked the movie better if neither of them got the girl. She needed to learn how to stand on her own instead of just jumping from one heel to another.

This is one of the few movies where I actually favour the remake. I love Audrey and all but the remake just has more life, more love in it. And the transformation is actually a transformation, not just cutting off a pigtail. Lame.

Ah, you can't remake Audrey Hepburn or Humphrey Bogart.

Neither were particularly specifically scintillating in this movie. And you're not remaking them, just retelling a story. Better in this case.
