Just posted a review of the Cape on www.darkcrazy.com, if you're interested. I thought it was pretty good.

Just read that NBC had reduced their commitment for the Cape from 13 to 10 episodes. RIP.
Kind of fun, but the family thing was overly angsty for me. Plus there was, of the 6 or 7 episodes I have seen, only one good episode and that was the one on the train. Most others were not particularly engaging. Like Heroes, it could have been interesting, but it just never got there.

I like it better than that. It doesn't feel the need to be over the top like Heroes, but I guess it doesn't matter if it's already getting the axe.

I am not really sure why I didn't like this as much as I wanted to. Perhaps it is because the cape was such a generic character. And the angst for the family has been so done to death. It felt as though it were a paint by numbers show; nothing new or innovative. It just never felt as though it were going anywhere.

I'll give you that. I feel like the elements were there for it to evolve into a good show, but it doesn't look like it's going to get the chance.
