The BBC have done a series of modern-day Sherlock Holmes... things. In typical weird British tv style, they look like a bunch of movie-length things, but it looks awesome anyway, I saw the ads for it today and it looks so good. So yay BBC and yay Sherlock.

Public television is going to show that program here in Atl. I saw the promo for it yesterday, the Sherlock actor looks pretty snarky.

That sounds interesting. Be looking for that either on PBS or BBC America. Speaking of BBC shows, I really have enjoyed Being Human. Primeval I still will watch but not sure I am completely sold on it. Going back a yr or two, I would recommend the first season of Hex to anyone. Second season not so much. As far as comedies, the Inbetweeners is hilarious.

Being Human is awesome, I just love the basic premise. I missed the first episode of the second season so I didn't much get into it this year though...

I watched the three 90-minute Sherlock episodes. I highly recommend it, and can't wait for more!

On the Being Human front, has anyone noticed that they're making a SyFy remake of it? I saw the website, it looks terrible! Not least because not only are these characters monster types they're also being given character stereotypes as well, "The loner" "The free spirit" bleh! I don't think I'll watch that one!
