In this first episode we cover the Transformers movie, the new JJ Abrahms project, the success of TV shows like Heroes and the unfortunate demise of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. There is also some talk about how housewives are ruining American television. media.libsyn.com/media/darkcrazy/TAMD_Episode_001.mp3

I'm happy, I watch Grey's Anatomy and I'm not ashamed of it.

I never really got into this film, and the sequel was just sad. I guess my expectations were just far too high.

Yeah I just watched Transformers 2, and I don't agree with Sean at all. He said that it was the same level of crap as the first one, and nobody should be disappointed. I think it was far crappier than the first. Every female in the movie was just talentless ass, and the men were irritating, supposedly witty, but not funny at all. I liked the old dude robot though, he was ok.

The whole "Robot heaven" thing didn't sit well with me. Neither did the elevated role of the kid (can't recall his character name). Why not keep his role in line with normalcy? And don't get me started on the robot that transforms into a hot, horny babe.
I found it a brainless action flick.

I guess that's why neither of these films bothered me. I didn't expect more than brainless action.

There was a robot heaven? I think I must have got distracted and wandered off halfway through the film, I can't even remember much more than a vague feeling of disgust, with regards to the plotting anyway.

Yeah, LeBooof's character toward the end gets "mostly dead" and has a chat with the Primes in Roboheaven. That makes me wonder, what does Roboheaven transform into? The biggest chocolate sunday imaginable, perhaps?

They transform into clouds. That's where distributed computing came from.

Three guesses as to which of our three hosts actually blames housewives for ruining TV... You know ... it occurred to me that I'm actually a housewife (albeit not a very good one ;D.) But I can't take credit for ruining television. Scott's parents came up from Florida for the weekend. In a Netflix discussion, my mother-in-law asked "Do they let you get chick flicks?!" I gave her a blank look. Like Tomb Raider, maybe?

I finally got Transformers 2 yesterday, and downloaded the Rifftrax for it today so I can watch it tonight. It may be the only way I get through this thing.
