Finished up Christopher Knowles, Our Heroes Wear Spandex: The Secret History of Comic Book Heroes. It's a fair read with some interesting ideas covering the history of comic books heroes and their possible mythological origins. It could have been better written but worth it for the ideas. He gives a better interview though (discovered him from a podcast) and he runs a blog, secretsun.blogspot.com, in which he perceives mythological symbols in pop culture. A lot of it is a stretch.
