Junk gags are en vogue these days, it seems. This movie has what seems like a two minute multiple junk shot. It's a pretty funny gag, especially for a movie that doesn't have a lot of laughs in it. I guess breaking out wieners is what it takes to make the Farrelly brothers funny these days.
There are some boobs in the movie too, so at least that trend's catching on again. But it is funny that boobs come out to be sexy but the only reason movies ever have wang is to be funny.

This was a movie I knew would be dumb, but my crush on Jenna Fischer commanded I netflix it. It had moments that were funny, but it's just like any Farrely Bros movie now. I'm trying to figure out if I outgrew their movies or if they just are missing an ingredient that they had in the earlier hits...I wonder the same about Kevin Smith. In Smith's case, I think it's both. I know it is loved, but I still contend that Dogma is overhyped dreck.

Dogma was where I fell out of love with Kevin Smith, but I like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. He's good when he's trying to be funny without trying to matter.
All Farrelly Brothers movies are predicated on the idea that you can make fun of anything so long as the characters learn something in the end. It's gotten tiresome.

I still contend that Dogma is overhyped dreck. THANK YOU!!! If anything I think the word "dreck" is too forgiving!
