Stupid people doing pointless things. Sorry, I think that statement's more about the making of Quarantine 2.
Watch "Flight of the Living Dead" for a better pass at the mothaf***in' zombies on a mothaf***in' plane" idea. That one was okay. This one is an embarrassment to zombies and movies. This movie would have embarrassed Uwe Boll.
It obviously has no connection to Rec 2 (though the first was adapted from Rec), which was actually very cool and a worthy sequel. This one makes a weak pass at connecting itself to its predecessor (which was also disappointing compared to the source material), but abandons the POV style in favor of amateurish cinematography that's accidentally reminiscent of that style. It's a lot of running around and screaming without any point and no surprises. A lot of great horror movies were made on a $20 budget, but this ain't one of 'em.
