I haven't watched this The Thing remake/prequel whatever but I'm reading a review about it that mentions that one scientist brought in take a sample of the Thing and put it in the lab against the wishes of the other, then they go off to celebrate...
It just struck me as a classic example this is of Gilbert's don't do stupid things in horror movies rule. Also, scientists are stupid and the root of all evil. It seems like a moment where I'd be watching the movie shouting at the people on the screen not to do that!
