Every time people read this one (which ain't that often), I re-write it. Seems I'm out to punish the minority of people who actually do read my work.
The re-write will be worth it, I think. It's got zombies in it!

I liked the old version, the one before you added the bad cg zombies, Sean "Lucas" Gilbert.

The new one's not even written yet and already with the criticism. tsk. Maybe I'll just revise it every five years for no reason. Here's a couple of casting alternatives for Brooks: Jay Baruchel Or Adam Brody And for Greg: Seth Rogan Or Danny McBride Leslie Mann could play my friend Kris (you don't know her, but I actually think this would be perfect casting)

It's alright, cast any one of them and if you're not happy just replace their head in the computer with a better actor later.

After seeing the Muppets movie yesterday, I have to say that Jason Segel is a good choice for you, Sean. The mannerisms are similar...and you share eyes. I didn't mean that in a creepy way. Nevermind.

Also, according to Amazon, this book has shipped. It better be good or you will get the ridicule you so richly deserve, sir.

...and you share eyes. I didn't mean that in a creepy way. Nevermind. So how does that work? Some kind of 50/50 daytime nighttime split? How do they make the exchange? I think Seth Rogan looks and acts more like Gilberto than Greg. What about Kevin Smith? You used to look/dress like him.

Also, who's playing the elf that lived in the walls?

That was a different house, that Gorp lived in, but I nominate a young Terry Gilliam (from the Flying Circus days).
I agree about Seth Rogan; I think Danny McBride is closer. And I mean that in a good way, I love Danny McBride.
As for Kevin Smith, I don't look or dress like him anymore. When I saw my health declining I vowed to be in the shape of my life by the time I reach 40 (and I shall). That guy found out he couldn't fit on a plane and he just made a documentary about it.

I miss fat, drunk, angry Sean. This skinny, lovable version is not what I signed up for.

It's alright, skinny Sean still hates Christmas, now he has Christmas food to add to his long list of Christmas groans.

That's right. Now Christmas is literally out to kill me. And I quit smoking ages ago. Can Kevin Smith say that?
