Sam Neill made space kinda creepy in Event Hozizon I thought... or did space make Sam Neill kinda creepy?
...okay speaking of sci-fi horror, this weekend my friends planned Galaxy of Terror. Never seen it, though it's been staring at me in the sci-fi movie section of the library since 1985 or something.

There are some moments in Galaxy of Terror. Some uncomfortable moments, but it's a cheesy romp. Kind of like Humanoids from the Deep.
I love Sam Neil, but Event Horizon is another one of those "our worst nightmares are coming true" movies where their nightmares are just lame. He does become a naked crazy weirdo at the end, though. That's pretty creepy.
Another good example is Pandorum. That movie was pretty dumb.
