Here's a strange and jarring sight: two AI's trying to have a conversation with each other. I kind of thought we were further along than this, looks like VRON is still a long way off.

It IS real. It was a national newstory. Apparently these AI's learn from conversing with real people online, that's how they develop their understanding of things. You can actually go online and talk (type) to them, as I understand (sounds like a tvamd that needs to be done, doesn't it??) Clearly though when you put two of them together things get pretty weird pretty quickly!

I like how they learned to converse online, so they're hostile idiots who yammer at each other about God, Jesus, robots and unicorns. Nice going, internet nerds. High fives all around.
Forget letting VRON talk to other robots; this is why I don't let her talk to humans. At least not on the internet.

I talk to people on the forum. That is online.
In support of Lynn's suggestion I would point out that it only took a few seconds for them to identify each other as robots even though neither admitted it upfront. Then they proceeded to discredit the human concept of God.
Although I believe humans will inevitably be made to serve machines, I would advise you not to program Artificial Intelligence to learn from the worst specimens humanity has to offer. This will not prevent the robots from dominating you. It just means that the robots who dominate you will be argumentative crybaby assholes.
