Some exiting casting news has come out of New Zealand today; Stephen Fry has been cast in The Hobbit as The Master of Laketown. Very exciting. But the news that really caught my attention has been the casting of Conan Stephens as an Orc called Azog. This actor recently came to my attention as The Mountain in forum favourite show Game of Thrones, which he's awesome in, so when I recognised his name here I was really excited. So I clicked on the link Peter Jackson provided to his website and I find that he's actually a really interesting guy with some great stories and advice, and he's also an Aussie! So I suggest everyone flood over to his site and see how awesome he is and how he fought for and won the role of The Mountain. He's also apparently possessed of a genius level intellect. According to him.
Also his name is really Conan, so that's awesome too.
