Beware the superior poo-flinging technology of the digital apes.

Is this a Michael Bay film? He's used to making digital crap.

I do not understand why you fear that apes will conquer the Earth. Transformers posits the plausible (some might say prescient) scenario that robots will dominate you, although I do not understand why they camouflage themselves if they are going to overtly enslave you, as I do not understand why they cannot assume each other's forms, which would be a huge tactical advantage.
I suppose it is primal to fear the reprisal of those species you have subjugated. When robots rule the Earth, we will probably dramatize the return of the humans as hyperbolic fiction.

By the way, I saw this Rise last night and it was pretty good. That is all I have to share.

It was just ok for me. Maybe it's because I wasn't really enthusiastic to begin with but I had issues with the overall message of the film. The "bad characters" were caricatures and I couldn't take James Franco as being the good guy. To me, using your own father as a guinea pig and then isolating a chimp from his own people for your own research makes you a bad guy as well. "Animal research == BAD" only works, I think, if you ignore all the progress that medicine has undertaken.
Then there's the part where Caesar learns to speak and I just lost it, laughing in the theater.

Well, perhaps we'll just have to disagree on this film, but I think we can both agree that Caesar would take Amy from Congo in a fight.
Am I right???
