Sean, Greg and Lynn return to discuss the Lord of the Rings and the forgotten characters like Tom Bombadil who never seemed to make it off the page and onto the screen. Quick Note: It is mentioned that the Hobbit movie project is in development Hell, but since this episode was recorded that situation has changed and the project is progressing. traffic.libsyn.com/darkcrazy/TVAMD_LOTR2.mp3

Found the show enjoyable as always but Sean, you must admit that lynn CARRIED your sorry behinds on show number 2. She was way more prepared and knowledgeable in all things Tolkien.
Or perhaps that was clever editing!
Merry Christmas to you all (do they have Jesus in Oz? I get so confused)

Yeah, the only thing I did in way of research above Lynn was actually reading the books. What? Oh yeah, I said it.
Research? Us? It's all we can do to show up. We're lucky we have Lynn to pick up the slack for us.

I seem to remember a certain Gilbert telling me the other day that he also went back and watched the movies... after he'd finished editing the episodes.

Because they made me nostalgic. Not much sense doing research after the episode's cut.

I don't read the script, the script reads me.

Have you been eating those mushrooms again? Love of the Hobbit's weed dulled your brain? Good lord, I just realised that with all of the talk of stoner Hobbits we never mentioned their love of the mighty mushroom! What sort of mushrooms they eatin?

Hobbits leave no frog unlicked in their endless pursuit of being even more lethargic and useless.

Entwash that makes them "taller", very Alice in wonderland.
