Cute. Did you have to do a lot of ADR for those beach scenes? That's a real pain.

We did adr for the entire movie, because the mics had been up too loud, but after a few viewings I felt that the performances were better with the original sound and that it was worth the sacrifice of the audio quality. So the voices are all original... with the exception of the scene in the rain on the beach where they fight because that was just too muffled for Ben to allow, so that's why that scene sounds a little hollow. Ben wanted to go back and redo all the adr to try for a better sound and performance but the actors haven't been available. I think people don't realise how difficult adr is on the actors, getting that same performance in again is nearly impossible.
