Could be cool, but the trailer is such a quick-cut gallery that it's hard to tell.
Even the TVAMD forum is not safe from the remake trend.

Some series of books where a boy becomes a vampire, but vampires are more like superheroes than monsters. More proof that we've lost vampires.
