In the first episode of robot law I believe someone mentioned that Santa Claus was a psycho with a red robe. I do not exactly know if this is common knodledge: In The Netherlands and Belgium, Saint Nicolas is called "Sinterklaas" or "Sint" — Saint. It's derived from Nikolaus, a greek bishop who was patron to the poor and to the young. Note that "Santa Claus" is phonetically related to the Dutch "Sinterklaas", so much so that for a Dutch person the origin of the name "Santa Claus" is obvious; it's just "sinterklaas" pronounced in English. His feast on December 5 came to be celebrated in many countries with the giving of gifts. At the Reformation in 16th-17th century Europe, many Protestants changed the gift bringer to the Christ Child and the date of giving gifts changed from December the 5th to Christmas Eve. We still celebrate the Sinterklaas feast on December 5 in the Netherlands. It's just like Christmas Eve a childrens feast (mostly). ...and now we've made a horror movie ;D (Haven't watched the trailers yet so I don't know if it's any good. Maybe there's some with english subs, I'll try and find those) www.imdb.com/title/tt1167675/

...and here's a short trailer I found with subs.
Oh by the way, in our country Saint Nic doesn't have reindeer, he's on horseback which is way more scary for kids come to think of it.
