I was looking for old movie torrents and I found this one. Horrors of Spider Island. It really is an old-school gem. It's black and white, low-budget, and apparently not originally done in English so it poorly dubbed.
Ok, here's the set-up; some guy is taking a troop of dancing girls to some Island (I forget where, I was too busy laughing through the exposition, they had such a novel way of making it interesting; pan down to a girl fixing her stockings all the way up her thighs) and they crash of course so all their skimpy dresses get torn up to their hips and down their chests (this is after they've had to audition for the dance troop by stripping and dancing) then there's something monstrous spidery thing on the island that bites Gary and he turns into a mutant thing with big claws which proceeds to attack all the women in various amusing shadowy ways. There is a moment when the girls have a fight... with a whip no less. And it appears that all the girls' voices are dubbed by just one woman, which makes the scenes where they're looking for Gary fairly amusing as she tries to make just one voice sound like a dozen girls. I'm not even half way through the movie and I'm already enamoured. It's an unabashed exploitation horror, but it's so old! Talk about women's bodies being different! It shouldn't be too hard to find, so go have a look at it, it's a scream!
