Jon and I recently watched the Boondock Saints II: All Saint's Day movie.
Pure crap. Absolute crap. Oh my god did the crap run forth from the TV.
Same story as the first one, but now even more cops are into the scheme. They replaced some of the characters with more annoying ones and inserted weird dream sequences that had no point.
Troy Duffy, you are a douche, sir.
What other sequels have seriously disappointed you?

Highlander II: The Quickening
I'm about 90% sure that someone had Sean Connery's manhood in a sling in order to get him signed on for that one.

Highlander 2 is commendable just for its unbridled stupidity. It's also a masterpiece compared to everything that followed it bearing the Highlander name. Anyone see Highlander: The Source? How about the animated series?

Is The Source the one where the panets align, and so suddenly they're about 20m away from earth? Then "there can be only one" actually ends up meaning there can be only one immortal who has a baby... just cos his wife is all baby mad? That was terrible.

Also, I was disappointed by Shrek the third. The other two were funny. Not this one.

Shrek the Third was so bad I can't believe there's gonna be a fourth.

Shrek 3 made money, so a 4th was inevitable.
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.

This is a little off topic, but this is a quote from the wikipedia page on Sequels. Interquel When there are already two or more completed works, an interquel can portray events which happen between them, bridging one story to the other. The interquel is therefore a sequel to one work and a prequel to another. For example, the video game Metroid Prime and its sequels were released after Metroid and Metroid II, but take place between them. This is more common in ancillary works in other media rather than works in a popular series. For example, the novel The Godfather Returns takes place between the events of the films The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, and the Star Wars multimedia project Shadows of the Empire takes place between the films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Similarly, the 2008 film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the subsequent television series take place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The new film Fast & Furious takes place in the time between 2 Fast 2 Furious and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. The video game Street Fighter IV takes place after Super Street Fighter II Turbo but before Street Fighter III 2nd Impact. Also, the Street Fighter Alpha series takes place after Street Fighter but before Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. Also an interquel is the video game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This takes place during the end of Kingdom Hearts and leads directly into Kingdom Hearts II. The fan film Star Wars: Revelations takes place between episodes III and IV.
Another example is the movie franchise Alien vs. Predator, which takes place before the initial title of Alien but after the final movie of the other franchise Predator.
Interestingly enough, the Metroid Prime subseries is, as said, an interquel of the overall Metroid series, occurring between Metroid and Metroid II: Return of Samus, and has three main games, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2 Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. However, set between Prime and Echoes is the FPS spinoff Metroid Prime Hunters, a rare(?) example of an interquel amidst an interquel.
Apparently there's also threequel and midquel and sidequels.
