How in the hell does this sound funny: "A neurotic and insecure man finds out his best friend wants to have a child through artificial insemination. He surreptitiously replaces her donor's semen with his own and is then forced to live with the secret that he is the child's real father." It's listed as a comedy but it sounds like something from a horror film to me. Or an episode of Law and Order. Anyway, this has got the movie release dates and descriptions for the next year. Did you know they're making a Marmaduke movie? Yup.

Frozen looks like a good stupid one. Stuck on a ski lift... terrifying. It's like Open Water, except they're stuck in a chair together for 90 minutes.

Depends who you're with, could well be terrifying

The real life concept of the movie is terrifying. The question is, can a 90 minute movie capture that terror?

Frozen sounds extra stupid especially after my fiance explained that the at the end of the night, the person at the top of the ski lift rides down to meet the person at the bottom of the ski lift.

In real life. Jon said that at ski resorts, at the end of the night the person at the top of the lift goes down the lift to meet the person at the bottom of the lift.

So in the movie are they stuck over night in an unrealistic fashion? That makes sense.

Knowing a thing or two about horror logic ( : , I'd guess that there is a scene at the beginning of this film where they state that they do this check (they will probably go into how perilous it would be for someone to get stuck out there for a night). When it comes time to do the check, they skip it. OR, when the guy on top gets on; our unfortunates jump the gate and get on after him.

Yeah, this movie is probably rough on ski lift operators, making them look like slack-ass good-for-nothings that skirt their responsibilities.
A buddy of mine went to grad school in Iowa, which can get very cold. He said that people looked out for each other more than in other climes, because if you see someone passed out by the side of the road they could die. When it's life or death people tend to be more careful.

I don't know, car travel is life or death and people tend to be pretty unconcerned about things like speed and fatigue. The ski lift ops in this movie might be the police or security guards of this movie.
